Postponed Development … and then some …
Production on Coconut Girl has been postponed until September 30th.
Perhaps I shouldn’t regret not releasing it this week. Aside from waiting longer for music, I would be in competition with Ozman69’s Irony, a “30 Seconds of Bliss” movie. To have my genre chart position robbed by a 30 second movie would piss me off greatly– I’m glad I didn’t release my film. On the other hand, I have to admit that I did get a good chuckle from Ozman’s film. Pretty funny stuff for only 30 seconds worth of footage. Personally, The Lottery would be my favourite episode of of the 30SOB series.
However, I’m cheering on DNR’s Mancini to take the #1 overall spot for this month’s Hall of Fame. Now that’s a well-deserving flick!
Right now, I’ll be working on a The Movies fansite called The Shoujo Shop, and some VOs for other people. I’ll explain more about The Shoujo Shop at a later date. So far, the only progress on did on it was that I registered the domain name last week. It is www.shoujoshop.com … it’s usually not like me to register a “.com” domain name but I intend to sell some stuff on it so it only makes sense to make it a .com. Speaking of selling, I have to wonder how much money per unit does one make when an item is sold through CafePress…
Next month, I’m expecting to compete with DNR’s Kings of Comedy 2 and benstudios1991’s Manny Jones On Tour 3 for the Comedy charts. It feels kind of funny that I do VOs for both of those movies. 
Speaking of Comedy, now I regret leaving MoMc Comedy for one month to review Romance flicks … I personally would have never thought that Ubernewbie would become and MoMc reviewer … oh well … stuff happens and that’s how it is. However, I’ll be reviewing Comedy movies again for Week Eight.
Speaking of MoMc, I might consider bugging JohnOkinawa, Mogulman, MelonTheCreeker, and other current/former members of the SSRC to join MoMc … I guess you could call it a merger but considering the size of MoMc, it’s more like a take-over. LOL.
